A warm and cordial welcome to the super King Edward Holiday Flats and Apartments, a block of 30 fully self-contained holiday flats in the very heart of breezy Blackpool, each with its own private facilities so as to enable you to take a carefree vacation with complete freedom.

The imposing King Edward Building occupies a prime town centre site only about 300 yards from Central Pier, the fabulous Golden Mile and Blackpool’s world renowned sandy beaches. Built in the reign of King Edward VII, the property was designed by British Rail architects and constructed on the ‘grand scale’ with Accrington red brick facings all round. For many years, when the former Central Station brought thousands of early century holidaymakers into Blackpool by train, the King Edward Building was an overnight ‘home’ for engine-men. With the transformation of the Central Station land into leisure complexes and car parking, this fine old property became surplus to railway requirements. We are proud to have been given the opportunity to restore the King Edward Building to its former glory, with a new lease of life to cater for the needs of a new generation of holidaymakers coming to Blackpool.

We have created self-catering flats by the seaside, each unit with its own keys. Fire regulations have been complied with, to help ensure your safety. Each flat has its own bathroom (or shower) and W.C., shaver point, own hot water, colour T.V., kitchen with refrigerator and full-size cooker, cutlery, crockery and bedding in all units. All we ask you to bring is your own towels and toilet requisites. There is an electric fire in every living room and bedroom with additional central heating, floors 1,2,3. Most windows have double or secondary glazing.

We like to feel that the King Edward Holiday Flats occupy one of the finest locations in the heart of Blackpool. Our own private car park takes away all the hassle of trying to find a parking space, and you may come and go as you please throughout your stay with us, either with or without your car.

Indeed, we do everything possible to ensure that you get a fabulous, carefree holiday at a price which we feel represents unbeatable value anywhere in Blackpool with some lower tariffs early season. We have aimed to bring you a standard of self-catering accommodation which gives you the comfort of your own home plus the pleasure of a well-earned vacation.
